Eldho Mathews works for the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (a university under the Ministry of Education, Government of India) as Deputy Advisor where he is responsible for facilitating India’s bilateral cooperation programmes in education through evidence-based research. He holds an MPhil degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Eldho’s professional activities include serving as Consultant to the World Bank and serving on an expert panel of the UNESCO IESALC, and he he has served as Head, Internationalising Higher Education (South India) at the British Council, full-time consultant with the Ministry of Human Resource Development’s National Higher Education Mission (RUSA) and the Education Division of the Planning Commission of India. Eldho started his career as a research officer with the Kerala State Higher Education Council in 2007.
