Eldho Mathews is a Programme Officer (Internationalisation of Higher Education) at the Kerala State Higher Education Council, India. Previously, Eldho served as Deputy Advisor at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), a university under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. There, he played an important role in facilitating India's bilateral educational cooperation through evidence-based research. Eldho holds an MPhil degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and is nearing the submission of his PhD thesis. His career includes contributions as a Consultant to the World Bank and as a member of an expert panel for the UNESCO IESALC. He has held roles such as Head of Internationalising Higher Education (South India) at the British Council, Senior Researcher in Education at Sannam S4, and full-time consultant with the National Higher Education Mission (RUSA) and the Education Division of the Planning Commission of India.
