Ade Alimah is a doctoral student of the Department of Educational Administration and Policy Studies, State University of New York at Albany and Doctoral Research Assistant at PROPHE. She is pursuing her Doctoral degree with a Fulbright scholarship. Alimah received her Bachelor's degree in Islamic studies from State Islamic University of Yogyakarta (Indonesia). She earned her Master of Education from La Trobe University (Australia) with Australian Development Scholarship.

Alimah is a lecturer at State Islamic Institute of Mataram (Institut Agama Islam Negeri Mataram) in Indonesia. She had involved in Mataram Mediation Centre and Centre for Children and Women at State Islamic Institute of Mataram.

Her research interests focus on Islamic higher education in modern world, mainly issues in policy changes in Indonesia, transformation of Islamic colleges and universities, management and administration of Islamic higher education institutions, and curriculum development.
