Stacey R. Hansen is a Ph.D. student in Educational Policy and Leadership (EPL) at the University at Albany, State University of New York. She has over 20 years of professional experience in higher education with a focus on international education and student mobility. Stacey has extensive experience working directly with students, collaborating with faculty and administrators across the university, partnering with higher education institutions around the globe, teaching and training (students and professionals), intercultural learning, process improvement, and myriad other “stuff” that keeps an organization moving forward. She has presented sessions and workshops at a variety of conferences and is a member of the NAFSA Trainer Corps. Stacey’s professional and research interests include the intersection of organizational goals and capacities; continuous learning for professional staff in higher education; identity and inclusion; the influence of intercultural experience on human development; and improvement science.
