Aurélien Casta is a French researcher and a teaching assistant in sociology at the Lille University. In 2012, he finished the PhD on French and English student finance policies at the Paris Ouest Nanterre University. During his PhD, he was accommodated twice as a visiting scholar at the London Westminster University. After that, thanks to a post-doctoral contract provided by the FOREDUC Program, he began a study of for-profit higher education institutions in France and in the United Kingdom. In connection with PROPHE, Casta’s most recent research focuses on for-profit higher education in France and in the United Kingdom and on the role of the State in both private sectors.
